too cute

this is just the cutest picture of some of my nephews. love them so much. this weekend we will be babysitting 5 of my neices and nephews. we will be taking them to the zoo and pool so it should be a very fun eventful weekend!

Reno

This past weekend we went to Reno for Nathans Granpa's funeral. It was nice to spend time with family and to meet all of Nathans cousins and aunts and uncles. He will truly be missed.

This picture doesn't do any justice but Lake Tahoe is seriously one of the prettiest places I have ever seen.

P.S. Me and Nathan are having to buy a new car. Know of anyone selling a good cheap car? LET US KNOW!

bittersweet

Today is a very bittersweet day. Today made five months of me and Nathan being sealed for time and eternity. Today is the day that Nathans Grandpa who sealed us passed away. I will never forget the day he sealed us. We cried from laughing so hard in our wedding which is exactly what I loved about it and what I needed. The words of advice he spoke to us will impact our lives forever. Nathan looks up to him so much and we will definently feel his loss. He is a wonderful man and leaves a wonderful legacy behind for his family. We will fly to Reno on Friday to attend his funeral.

Happy five months to my favorite boy! One of my favorite things that was said at our wedding was that me and Nathan meeting so many years ago was no coincidence, it was all part of the plan. Us moving to the same school our Freshman year was no coincidence. We were meant to be together. I am so happy to grow old with my husband.

"Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other."

I was reading a General Conference talk today and and this quote stuck out to me. Its so easy in our busy lives to forget this. I'm so lucky to have such a outwardly, loving husband. It doesn't matter who we are with or what we are doing, he is always there loving me and making me laugh. I realize everyday how much more I truly need him and his love. Since Nathan is out of school, we are literally with eachother every second of every day. We wake up together, get ready together, go to work together, go home together. I am so happy I married someone who is my best friend. And to be with him all day every day makes me the happiest.

Here is a picture of us at my house before Junior Prom. We always talked about getting married even at this young of an age and I can't believe we are actually living it now. SO worth the wait.

this weekend was so nice. me and nathan have been running around and always busy the last couple weeks so we thought friday we would just come home watch a movie and order chinese. nathan also got really sick this past week and we even ended up taking him to the emergency room but all is well now. i even came home from work one of those days and he had cleaned the whole apartment while he was sick. i was quite impressed and grateful.

Last sunday I gave my first "adult" talk in church. For those of you that know me, you know i was SO nervous and freaking out. it went well and no harm done. nathan was sure to mouth "i love you" and mouth encouraging things while i was on the stand to help me feel better. he will give a talk next week and I will be sure to return the love. life is still flowing and we are just excited that its summer and can do fun outdoor actitivies. me and nathan helped my brother clean his boat and he built us a new TV stand. we love it! it looks like its from IKEA. he is quite talented.

happy mothers day to two of the best moms! We could not ask for better moms on both sides. i got to talk today in church and brag about how lucky we both are to have such wonderful woman in our lives.

gattiland

so me and nathan are babysitting my seven neices and nephews this week. today was a really rainy day and they were getting anxious around the house so we took them to gattiland and had a blast! two of my other neices tagged a long so we took 9 kids. ya i know we are crazy. here are some pictures of our fun weekend with our crazy neices and nephews. they are mostly of the boys because the girls are always off doing their own thing. love my family and love every second i spend with some of my favorite little people and of course my hubby.
