help the urry family

Please visit this link: www.builtwithlove.org

My mom grew up with Kathy Urry and actually they joined the church together when they were 16. Kathy and her husband have adopted 5 handicap children because they were unable to have children. Through the years Kathy and her husband have had SERIOUS health issues from blood clots, kidney stones, open heart surgeries and many more. They both can't work and their house is not in good condition, especially with so many handicap children. They desperatly need a handicap friendly home so as they get older their children can better take care of themselves. The community has found a lot to build a home for them and are asking people to donate. Please donate. You could not find better people to help. Even a little can go a long way. Visit the website and you will be inspired.

Thunder

Well, I am sure everyone knows about the Kentucky Derby (the horse race) that happens every May. Well from March until the Derby, every weekend there are special events that go on to lead up to the big horse race. They have balloon glows, Chow Wagon, big marathons, the Pegasus Parade, and many more. The most popular one is Thunder Over Louisville. It is the biggest firework show in the country. Everyone comes down to the waterfront and hang out all day until the big show at night. People even come down as early as three in the morning. There are games, tons of food, and its just a fun atmosphere. This year there were estimated 800,000 people so it was so crowded! Here are some pictures of the fun event:

True Love

Last night me and nathan snuggled up in bed and watched this talk by Elder Holland for Family Home Evening. It is such a bold, amazing talk.

sleepover

This weekend is so busy. My sister and brother-in-law and my neices and nephews came in town this weekend and with Easter and General Conference its non stop! But we love it. Last night we had my three nephews spend the night with us. We watched Blindside and they woke up and played video games all this morning. It was so much fun to have them over.

We made waffles with our awesome waffle maker we got as a wedding gift.

the boys playing video games. Excuse the mess, we hadn't cleaned up their beds yet.

Jack watching TV

I had to post this picture because I was getting on Ammon for wearing this because it clearly does not match. Then I remembered, one of the first times I talked to Nathan when we were 15 he was wearing a purple jersey with baby blue basketball shorts. I distinctly remember thinking, "Does he not know that doesn't match?" I was cracking up. I still tease Nathan about that to this day.

I really need to buy a camera. All these were taken with my I phone. Anyway, tonight Nathan is going to Priesthood Session so I am taking my two neices to see Last Song and then over to our house to spend the night.

eternal families

Today we had the oppurtunity to go watch my nephew get sealed to his family. I am just so grateful to not only have such a wonderful, fun, big family, but to be able to be with them forever. I love living so close to all my family and would not change it for the world.

Tonight we are having my three nephews spend the night. I am going to be up all night with all the boys (including my husband) playing video games. Wish me luck, more photos to be posted soon of our fun weekend.
