so funny......we are in dallas right now visiting nathans family and we came across some old pictures from when we were 16. just had to post them. looking back on these pictures i can't get over how young we were when we fell in love.

a week of firsts

this week has had tons of firsts for us. We moved into our first apartment, we have had our first christmas being married, and even had our first home cooked meal that i cooked that was delicious ha.

this year we just got eachother matching north face jackets. we love them.

my mom used to make this meal all the time growing up. pork chops, rice and brocolli. I had been craving it latly so this was our first home cooked meal together.

A lot of my family is spread out this Christmas and they have been wanting to see pictures of our new apartment. so here is a little sneek peak. we LOVE having our new place. we feel so blessed and grateful.

Our hearts have been so full latly of how blessed we are. We are so lucky to have eachother and to start our lives. We LOVE being married. We waited long enough.

cancun lovin

For our Honeymoon we went to Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico. We seriously could not have asked for a better honeymoon. everything in this place was free. free food, free shows, free drinks, free room service, free trips to water parks, free tours, free manicures and pedicures, and free mssages. thank you mom and dad for our wonderful honeymoon.

funny...nathan has loved using his spanish down here. a lot of the times he will start speaking spanish and the latinos will be like, "wow you have good spanish, did your wife teach you?" people think im latino down here. glad i get the credit for my husbands spanish ha

8 more days. Couldn't be happier.

Nuts!!!

This week has been crazy babysitting 6 kids everyday but its been alot of fun too. Jayme has been cooking every night and I have learned that my future wife is an amazing cook and that I am not going to starve to death. Everyday is like a repeat cleaning, cooking and cleaning some more but were having a blast doing it with the Neal kids.

p.s. We have been trying to agree on a blog song for the past half hour. Nathan thinks John Mayer is to boring and doesnt portray our relationship. He says we are to crazy and upbeat for John Mayer, which I agree. I love John Mayer though. enjoyyyy.

grateful

Thanksgiving was a blast this year. The food was delicious. Me and Nathan ate until we thought we were gonna puke. It was so nice to have all our family together. Each year we play Bingo and get to win prizes. We got our first Christmas decoration for our apartment for one of our prizes. We also picked checkers, and of course Nathan picked tons of gummies. After that my mom and dad took us to see Blind Side the movie. It was sold out so we saw Old Dogs instead and then we saw the later showing of Blind Side right after. That movie is SO good. Its so clean and has such a good message.

This is our Grams. She cracks us up. She happens to be very obsessed with Twilight and even has a Team Edward shirt she wears all the time. Shes 91 but looks and acts like shes 40. The other day we were at her house and her satelitte TV wasn't working and she was getting so frustrated and upset because there was this show about the making of New Moon and she couldn't watch it. So instead, we popped in Twilight and watched it with her. We are so grateful for her and her young spirit.

This is my nephew Zane who is obsessed with Nathan. Nathan is such a good uncle to him and all my neices and nephews. We took him out to eat the other day with us and all of a sudden he tore of a piece of his straw wrapper, stuck it in his straw and starting blowing spit balls at me. I have no idea where he learned that from. I kept saying spit one at Nathan and he said, "No, I like Nathan."

sisters

When my sister Jennifer came in town my sisters threw me a bridal shower. It was such a good turn out and I got so many cute things. My favorites though was my green apple kitchen aid and my cute kitchen towels that went with it. Im so excited to use them.

Every year around October all us girls take a roadtrip and spend the day at Brown County. Its a place that has so many cute shops with cute things for your home. So much of the stuff are handmade crafts that people make and sell in these shops. Every time we always eat at the same place for lunch. Their hot chocolate is so good!

FALL

Yesterday Nathan got to play some football for fun at the park. It was pretty funny to watch because Nathan hasn't played football in years and as you can tell in this picture you can tell he looks way tired. This is him with his best friends, they have been buddies since high school. They are also like my brothers.

Jayme and I are getting married less than three weeks. We are having a blast and time keeps on rolling by

new moon

Last night a bunch of us girls from my ward and my sisters, went out to eat and to the midnight showing of new moon. It was so much fun and i LOVED the movie. It is way better than the first one. It is in some ways a slower movie and not as much action, but that is how the second book is. The acting and everything was a lot better. Nathan even came and watched it with me even though it was all girls. He loved the attention though ha. Heres a video of him right before the movie started. Note: he has never read any of the books or anything of twilight.

GEORGIA

This weekend we took a roadtrip to GA with ethan and katie and landon (Nathans's brother-in-law, sister and nephew). We went down and visited Nathans Grandma and cousins. It was so much fun! It was so nice to be able to go down with Nathan because in High School I had never had the oppurtunity to go down and visit with him and his family. We mostly just hung around the house and the boys watched football and the girls cooked and spent time with Grandma Galli. Grandma Galli has had polio and is one of the sweetest ladies. She is such an inspiration to us all. Here are some pictures. Excuse the nastiness, we were traveling in most of these.


















On the way down we ran into car trouble. One of the bolts on the breaks was lose so we had to wander around for an hour.

LAME

This Halloween was our first halloween together since high school. Its so nice to finally be able to spend holidays together after being seperated for two years. BUT we were pretty lame this halloween. We have been so tired latly with planning and working we just wanted to just have fun and not worry about dressing up. SO much fun though. nathan was having a blast jumping out and scaring the older kids in my nephews pirate gear. it was pretty funny. We just went around with my family trick or treating and then came back and had smores around a bonfire. Hopefully next year we will dress up and not be so lame.
