update

the pregnancy is moving along...today we were able to go to the doctor and hear the heartbeat for the first time. it was so loud and clear and kind of unreal. we are halfway there to finding out the sex of the baby. we can hardly wait to find out!

so this has been our life for the past month it seems like:

i have been so nauseous for the past couple of weeks. it usually hits me mid-day to evening. so pretty much every night i just lay in bed and rest and nathan is so good and lays with me every night. i feel so bad for him because i have been so lame and boring. i can not wait for the first trimester to be over! thank you nathan for all your patience! 

miss my hub

okay so this is going to be a "pity me" post. me and nathan have never been apart since we have been married. he is out of town for work for three days this week and its the first time we have been a part and i do not like it at all. me and nathan always do everything together and are always together so this is def something different. i am counting the hours until he gets back home! i did it for two years so how hard can 3 days be?

big news

well im sure everyone knows, but i better make an "official blog announcement" that i am pregnant! i am due march 2nd and we are so excited! it kind of seemed unreal after the excitement of finding out went down, but after seeing the ultrasound its more real than ever. seeing the baby on the ultrasound was the most amazing experience. i got chills over my whole body and couldn't stop smiling. then i look over at nathan and he had the biggest grin on his face, so then that made me tear up. 


i have been lucky and i have not thrown up yet but i am still really nauseous and  so so tired all the time. i feel like the laziest blob. nathan has been such a trooper since i haven't had the energy to really do anything. here is our picture of our first ultra sound. 

me and nathan are going on a date night tonight. $5 movie and $1 burger night at sonic. more updates to come..

this saturday we went to our good family friend amanda's wedding reception. my mom is actually the one who set them up. she did a peacock theme and it was so cute. def wish i stole that idea!

texas

this summer has been super busy for us. we have pretty much lived out of a suitcase the past month. we went to cancun, babysat for a week, went to texas for a week, and now we are babysitting again. we love it though. this past week we went to texas for nathans brother nick's graduation from high school. the whole family was able to be there which doesn't happen very often. we ate way too much food and played a lot of settlers.

we were able to go to cancun this year with my parents. when me and nathan went on our honeymoon we were so exhausted from all the wedding planning we didn't do anything fun. so this time we made sure to actually do something. we went swimming with the dolphins, we visited the mayan ruins, snorkled, and got tons of massages. the resorts down there are really hurting because everyone is too scared to go to mexico with what the media is saying. so to get people down there we each got $1500 dollars to put towards anything we wanted to do. so everything was free. the customer service was wonderful and we had a blast.
