much needed update

 i have been such a bad blogger lately. we have done so many fun things but because i break every camera i own i can't take any pictures. we have had fun going to old high school football games, taking a road trip to the outlet malls with friends, went to a friend wedding, spending time with family and just enjoying being married. the only time i update my blog is usually when we babysit because i have access to a camera. right now we are babysitting for the week. nathan has actually been with the little ones most of the time because he has fall break and doesn't have to go to school. i came home friday with the whole house clean, kids up from naps and fed, and he was sewing a button on his shirt. i told him he cant be spending much time at home anymore haha. he has been such a trooper, he is really going to be such an awesome, hands on dad which i am so grateful for. here are some pictures of our crazy week so far.

today we woke up at 6:30 to take our two nieces to their cross country meet.

i wanted to get pictures of amalie to but we put my purse away in the car so i didnt have my camera.

im not gonna lie, i was a little grumpy and worn out so leave it to my husband to do something funny to get me out of my grumpy mood.

baylie wanted us to take her and her friend to field of screams (a haunted house) and we told her we would only take her if we went like this. she must really love us because she didnt care.

memory lane

me and nathan were going through some old pictures today and cracking up. my hair was wayy to blonde, his hair was so long and his clothes were all to small. i love looking at old pictures and laughing thinking, what was i thinking then?

yesterday nathan suprised a family that he baptized on his mission by calling them. it was so neat to hear how excited they were to hear from him. they actually guessed that it was nathan before he told them. even though those were a hard two years being away from each other, i am so grateful to be married to a return missionary.

saturday mornings

i love saturday mornings where we can just lay in bed and not have any responsibilities to get up for.

anyways,  i have been a horrible blogger lately. we have both started school so life's a little more crazy now. i had my birthday about 2 weeks ago. nathan made it extra special for me. bought me my favorite cake ever, a pretty heart necklace, and a cute laptop case for our new mac. the funniest thing ever was i found out he payed a lady at hallmark to wrap my presents. 

also, nathan and our friend mason have started their own power washing company called H2PRO. they already have a couple jobs and plan to make it big next summer. we are both really excited for it.  here are some pictures that we have taken from the past couple weeks.

bday fun

22 now. my boy is growing up so fast. by the way, he thought this was the cheesiest picture but i made him take it ha.

i got him the new football video game and some new shoes. i was bummed i had to work on his birthday but im sure he enjoyed staying home all day playing his new game.

we went out to eat and to a movie with our friends courtney and mason. we also went some apartment shopping and nathan let me buy a cute vase. they are moving into our apartment complex and we are way excited.

we will enjoy an evening out with friends going to The Cheesecake Factory and to see the movie Inception. Nathan has been dying to see it.

zoo

this weekend me and nathan decided to go out and spend time with just us. i have been wanting to go to the zoo for a long time so he took me. im like a little kid when i go, i love seeing all the animals. next time we will have to go at a different time because i think we went during nap time because a lot of the animals were sleeping. our favorites were the lions, giraffes,gorillas and the Orangutan. Oh, and the zebras and cheetahs. Pretty much everything. i couldnt get pictures of the big animals because i forgot my camera so i couldnt zoom in to get good pictures.
